Whether you're managing a busy schedule, facing mobility challenges, or simply prefer the comfort of your home, TapLabs ensures your samples are professionally collected and promptly delivered to the lab for processing. Results are securely reported through the Netcare system and accessible via MyHealth Alberta. For private tests, results are shared directly with you.

In March 2017, Kelly Kuzel, CEO and co-founder of TapLabs, rushed to a Calgary laboratory for urgent bloodwork. When she arrived, she faced a line-up of more than 50 people. The bloodwork was critical and time-sensitive, so she had no choice but to stay and wait. As she sat in that crowded lab, she thought, “This is crazy. There has to be a better way of providing lab services.”
That’s when the idea for TapLabs was born.
TapLabs was officially established in January 2021 by Kelly Kuzel and her husband, Dr. Paul Kuzel, with the goal of improving patient health outcomes by removing barriers to lab testing and empowering patients to take control of their own diagnostic health needs.
Today, TapLabs delivers mobile, on-demand lab services to patients in Calgary and the surrounding areas, seven days a week.
