Maximize patient recruitment and retention with our at-home clinical study sample collection. Our skilled technicians provide on-location lab services seven days a week, removing the burden of clinical trial participation for patients.
Schedule a lab test for your patient using our secure, intuitive patient portal or direct them to our easy
online booking portal or app. Select the service, the time and the test location that’s convenient for your patient. A TapLabs technician will receive this booking in real-time.
The technician will meet the patient at their home, office or other location to perform the procedure. After the appointment, the technician will transport the patient sample or test to the lab for processing, following stringent handling protocols.
The lab processes the sample and provides test results to the ordering physician/clinic.
TapLabs mobile lab services are currently available in the City of Calgary and immediate surrounding areas. A travel surcharge may apply to service appointments in neighbouring communities including Cochrane, Airdrie and Okotoks. Contact us for more information.
Our partner booking portal makes managing patient lab services simple. Easily pull up existing patient records, reorder repeating services and schedule appointments. Our platform is compliant with provincial privacy regulations for health records.

At our earliest stages, TapLabs developed a stringent quality management system for the handling of samples. TapLabs’ technicians receive in-depth training on these protocols.
Our new app makes scheduling and managing bookings a snap. Patients simply download the app, create an account and then select the lab test, the time and location they want. Patients will receive an alert when the technician is en route and can track their progress in real-time.
All TapLabs technicians are fully vaccinated. They adhere to strict, COVID-19 healthcare protocols, including sterilization procedures and PPE utilization.
